Bliss is everything that Ive ever wanted in
a sheltie in one package. Shes a fun loving, spirited puppy, and we
have high hopes for her future. Bliss is from Dailys last litter, so
that makes her even more special to us. Bliss is a half sister to Geraldo,
Lydia, and Zelda.
In October 2007, I saw PaRays Make A Splash (Rainy) in the show ring
for the first time, and he totally blew me away!! I loved everything about
him, and I was delighted that Daily came into season during the two months
that Rainy was on the East Coast to be shown. Rainy finished his championship
the weekend before Dailys puppies arrived.
Bliss is very photogenic, and she loves having her picture taken.
In September, 2011, Bliss whelped her first litter. She had three blue merle
puppies and one tri puppy sired by CH Blue Heavens Show Stopper (Sammie).
You can see pictures of those puppies
here.
In April 2012, Bliss had a new set of clothes, and she and Judy Stachowski
hit the conformation ring again. Bliss finished her championship on April
7, 2012 by winning a three point major under Linda Robey. Bliss is our first
bitch champion, and she is the second champion for both her sire and dam.
Six weeks after finishing Bliss' breed championship, Bliss and Judy started
the pursuit of her Grand Championship. They put it to bed in just five weeks,
and on June 23, 2012, Bliss became the first GCH at CastleGate Shelties.
Judy and Bliss earned 2 BOB's and three majors in a seven day period of time
to finish Bliss' Grand Championship in "grand" style.
After finishing her Am GCH, Bliss was still in nice coat, so she headed to
Canada to pursue her Canadian Championship with Rachel Pratt. In just one
week, Bliss and Rachel accomplished their mission! The day after Bliss finished
her championship, she was shown for the first time as a Canadian special,
and she won BOB and a Group 4 to end her Canadian sojourn on a high note!

Christmas 2008
Bliss won her first two points from the 12-18 class!
Bliss won her first Best of Breed from the Open AOAC Class!
Bliss won a three-point specialty major under Marjorie Tuff in February 2011.
Bliss won a five point major toward her Grand Championship under Charles
Olvis on 6-16-12.
I love the happy smile on Bliss' face! She knew she had done a good job!!
In February 2010, we got 40" of snow in less than a week. For an active dog
like Bliss, that was a real inconvenience. Once the top of the
snow glazed over, Bliss discovered that she could still fetch despite the
fact that there was almost two feet of snow still on the ground! <G>
